Shimano SH-M161G Shoes

Survival of the fittest has resulted in Shimano's SH-M161G Shoes, which are built to give you the edge in rugged conditions. The rigid carbon fiber-reinforced soles offer excellent power transfer and even feature removable toe spikes for top traction in sloppy conditions. The uppers are made of synthetic leather with armor for longevity, while micro-adjust buckles and dual off-set straps offer a custom fit.

    Comments:

These shoes came as my first exposure into clipless riding. These shoes combined with Shimano PD-M324 pedals for my Giant Revel 2 Mountain Bike made for GREAT Birthday presents. While they are difficult to walk in on hard surfaces (pavement) I can't imagine them feeling any better while riding. The two velcro straps and one ratcheting strap make for great fit for my big feet. LOVE these shoes!

      Comments:

These are shoes are awesome. The soles in these shoes hug my feet very nicely and the ratchet top strap makes my feet feel very secure. These shoes are great on the trails but awkward to walk in on hard surfaces like pavement for example. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who is into xc riding.
